JANUARY 2008 OFFICE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Omaha office market occupancy dropped 1.8 percentage points from our January 2008 report. There continues to be good activity in the marketplace for leasing large spaces and somewhat steady activity for smaller spaces. > more
Five of the twelve submarkets experienced significant improvement in occupancy in the last year: Regency, Miracle Hills, Millard (all from 5 to 5.2 percentage points), Westroads, and Empire Park (up 3.8 to 4 points). The biggest decline in occupancy in the last six months occurred in the Old Mill submarket, with a 12 point decrease because of ACI vacating two buildings.
