JOB TITLE
Lease Administrator

Basic Function
Perform all lease administration functions in conjunction with complete and accurate lease administrative support for managed sites. Maintain compliance needs associated with property management department. Reports to Director of Property Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The activities listed below are not all inclusive. However, they are indicative of the type of activities normally performed.

  • Draft and maintain as required Master Lease documents for managed sites
  • Draft and review leases, amendments, and other lease documents as needed
  • Set-up, maintain, update lease files, MRI profiles and tenant CRM data in an organized and accurate manner
  • Lease abstracting
  • Calculate CPI increases and prepare letters to tenants on schedule
  • Perform credit checks as needed
  • Preparation and tracking of 3-Day Notices, default notices and lien releases
  • Process bankruptcies, file claims, track hearings and protest dates
  • Ensure that Certificates of Insurance files for buildings and tenants are current and up to date
  • Coordination of Combined Package Policy renewals, claims and tracking
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Experience in Commercial Real Estate field and understanding of related terminology
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Word, Outlook, Excel, MRI or alternate property management software
    • Basic understanding of accounting and effect of transactions
