La Vista Crossing seeks more tenants

A commercial building under construction in La Vista has space left for two or three tenants, now that a dentist’s office has signed a lease.

The building is the second phase of the La Vista Crossing development at the northwest corner of 72nd Street and Giles Road.

Tenants in the fully leased first phase include Valentino’s pizza, the UPS Store, H&R Block, a chiropractor and hair and nail salons. There isn’t enough parking for a restaurant, but retail businesses or professional services would be good candidates for the remaining bays in the second phase, which should be ready by June, said Pat Regan, an agent with Investors Realty.

Regan said plans for the building were put on hold by the Great Recession. Today, he said, developer Todd Kanne of Carroll, Iowa, had enough confidence in the market to build before the strip was fully leased.

“Sarpy County continues to be a hot area for growth and development,” Regan said
